2AM are a young boy band, made up of the four members Jokwon, Jinwoon, Seoulong and Changmin. They specialize in ballads and are signed under JYP Entertainment. 2AM are the counterpart to the seven member boy band 2PM.

biographyTogether with the members of 2PM, Jokwon,Jinwoon and Seoulong appeared on Mnet's reality show Yeolhyeollama (known as Hot Blood by international fans). In this show they underwent rigorous training before their debut. In the first episode 13 trainees were sent to a 'vacation' that turned out to be the hardest time in their career as trainees. During this time, the prospective members of both groups had to do excercises with army officers or learn traditional Korean singing. On March 14 on the seventh episode of Hot Blood, the final members were announced.Changmin is the only member who did not take part in this show.
2AM finally debuted on July 11th 2008, a day marking the end of Jokwon being the longest trainee on JYP Entertainment. Their debut performance of Inorae was on KBS Music Bank.
Their self-titled debut single 2AM was released ten days after that performance on July 21st, and contained Inorae, Aniragie and Eoddeokhajyo.
Unlike 2PM who specialize in upbeat dance songs, 2AM's forté is soulful ballads and they have enjoyed great success in that area. At the 2008 MKMF they were nominated as best newcomers and performed a medley of G.O.D. songs.
